The specialty of Tanjore Paintings is the emboss work and Gold foil work involved. For the emboss work, a combination of Chalk powder and arabic gum(soaked in water) is used
This is precisely that combination. We are offering the same materials that we use for making our paintings. Package contents are as below:
- French Chalk powder - 1 kg (0.5 kg level 1 emboss + 0.5 kg Cone work powder)
- Arabic gum crystals - 200 grams
The arabic gum crystals need to be soaked in water overnight and filtered before mixing with the chalk powder.
Care should be taken so that right quantity is mixed to get the desired result in the emboss work.
