Ganesh Tanjore Paintings
We make the most traditional portrayal of Lord Ganesha in Tanjore style with lot of stones of various colours - white, red, green using authentic 22 Cart gold foil. All of our paintings are framed using Teak wood like how it was done traditionally, unlike many other galleries that use synthetic frames
Lord Ganesha, also spelled Ganesh, also called Ganapati, is the God of beginnings, who is traditionally worshipped before any major enterprise and is the patron of intellectuals, bankers, scribes, and authors. His name means both “Lord of the People” (gana means the common people) and “Lord of the Ganas” (Ganesha is the chief of the ganas, the hosts of Shiva). Ganesha is potbellied and generally depicted as holding in his hand a modak, of which he is inordinately fond. His vahana is Mooshikam. Ganesha is the remover of obstacles.
